We do not have a shop in Bloomington-Normal. The closest 217 Dent shop is in Lincoln, about 30 miles down I-55 from Bloomington (roughly 35 to 40 minutes) and a few miles more from Normal. The Lincoln shop is open Thursday to Saturday, 8:00 to 5:00.
Getting to the Lincoln shop
Take I-55 south and get off at Business 55 (Lincoln Parkway) on the north end of Lincoln. Follow it to North Kickapoo Street. The shop is at 2009 N. Kickapoo St in Lincoln, right next to Graue Chevrolet Buick. Figure about 30 to 34 miles and 40 minutes depending on where you start. These are rough numbers from public map routing, so check your map app before you go.
Plan around Thursday to Saturday
From Bloomington-Normal, the Lincoln shop’s Thursday-to-Saturday hours are the ones to plan around. If Monday to Wednesday is the only time you have, our Springfield shop (550 North Street, Suite 2) is open then, but it is about 70 miles and an hour and a half away.

Call before you drive down
We would rather you not make a trip for nothing. Call first and we will set a time. It is hard to give a real estimate over the phone because two dents are never the same (see our cost FAQ), but we can tell you what we need to see. Bring the car clean so the dents show.
What we fix
Hail damage, door dings, creases and body-line dents, taken out without sanding, filler or a respray when the paint is intact. That includes aluminum hoods and aluminum trucks (see aluminum panel dent repair). If the paint is chipped or cracked, we will tell you up front that the spot needs paint work.
After a storm up north

Whether hail is covered, and what you pay out of pocket, depends on your policy and your insurance company. Call them, get a claim number, and then call us. In Illinois you are not required to use your insurance company’s suggested shop, though if your shop charges more than theirs you may have to pay the difference (Illinois Department of Insurance). We work with adjusters and bring the proper lighting, so everybody is looking at the same dents. The steps are on our insurance page.

- A clean car, so the dents are easy to see.
- Payment: we take check, credit card, cash and crypto (payments).
