Hail and Dent Repair for Pana, Illinois
Pana is in our job files. Years ago we repaired cars right in Pana, at a customer’s work and on location. Today all of our repairs are done in the shop, and Pana drivers are welcome to drive in to Springfield, the closer of our two shops.

- 2011 Chevy HHR. A sharp dent in the driver’s door, reached through the factory access hole inside the door. It was repaired in Pana at the customer’s work.
- 2015 Chevy Cruze. Dents in the hood, repaired on location in Pana with the factory paint kept on the car.
Pana to our Springfield shop
Take Route 29 northwest through Taylorville and on into Springfield. It is roughly 48 miles and a little over an hour to 550 North Street, Suite 2. These are rough numbers from public map routing, so check your map app before you go.
Which shop fits
Springfield, open Monday to Wednesday, 9:00 to 5:00, is the closer shop from Pana. Our Lincoln shop is open Thursday to Saturday, 9:00 to 5:00, but it is about 72 miles away, roughly an hour and a half, so plan for that if a late-week day is all you have.

- Wash the car so the dents are easy to see under our lights.
- If it is hail damage, call your insurance company first and keep any claim paperwork handy.

Whether hail damage is covered, and what you pay out of pocket, depends on your policy and your insurance company, so start by calling them. In Illinois you are not required to use your insurance company’s suggested repair shop, though if your shop charges more than the amount they will pay you may have to pay the difference (Illinois Department of Insurance). We can’t tell you what your policy covers, but we can look at the damage in person and write up what we find.
