Paintless Dent Repair (PDR)
Paintless dent repair (PDR)
The biggest misconception about paintless dent repair is that dents just pop out. They don’t. Real PDR takes skill, the right access, and the right tools.
What we can repair vs body work
Whether a dent is repairable with PDR or needs body work comes down to complexity, size, and location on the panel.
How people find us
Most of our jobs come from word of mouth and our website.
What a typical job looks like
A typical job is a mix of door dings and hail — not just one or the other.
How long a single dent takes
A single dent usually takes one to five hours.
Hail vs door ding pricing
Yes — hail and door dings are charged differently.
People often expect a price right up front over the phone. It’s impossible to price a dent over the phone — like calling a contractor and asking how much to build a house.
Tight panel gaps and hard-to-reach dents
When the gaps are tight, we still get the job done. We gain access underneath the panel. That can mean a glue-pull process, blending, metal blending, special non-marring hammers, tight tools, whale tails, and real thin tools for hard-to-reach places.
How we protect the paint
We work underneath the panel, and we protect other areas with drop cloths.
When it’s not a PDR job
If paintless repair isn’t the right path, we suggest a body shop in the area.
What to expect when you book
Don’t expect to wait for your vehicle. Drop it off and leave it for a full day, minimum.
