What do you need from me to start?
If it is an insurance job, your claim number and email are all we need to get started.
Is hail covered?
Hail and dent damage usually falls under comprehensive coverage. Ask your insurer what your deductible is and compare it to your 217 Dent estimate.
Can I keep the check and not fix the car?
If you own the vehicle outright, yes. If you have a loan or lien, you have these options: have the vehicle repaired, or apply the money to the loan. Read more.
Can I fix only the big dents?
Not if you have a loan or lien. If you own the car, you can, but the small dents will still show. Read more.
Will you work with my adjuster?
Yes. Send us your adjuster’s contact information so we can work with them.
Do I have to use the shop my insurer suggests?
No. See the Illinois Department of Insurance answer below, and our page on being told where to go.
Can I Choose My Own Repair Shop? Yes. You are not required to use your company’s suggested repair shop. However, if your repair shop charges more than the company’s suggested shop, you may have to pay the difference.
About your deductible
Keep in mind that insurance companies consider it to be insurance fraud if your repair shop offers to increase your repair estimate to help you recover the cost of your deductible.
